On August 9th, our Department of Human Rights and Governance organized a Maskani Talk aimed at empowering youth with knowledge about their rights in accessing Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) and related services in medical facilities. The session was held in Changamwe Malandi and was led by our dedicated Project Officer, Ms. Faith Kambua. She emphasized the critical importance of youth understanding their rights, particularly in the context of SRHR, to ensure they receive appropriate and respectful care. Ms. Kambua’s engaging presentation highlighted real-life scenarios and provided practical advice on how youth can assert their rights when seeking medical services. The talk was well-received, sparking meaningful discussions among the participants and fostering a deeper awareness of SRHR issues.
